In the senior and elder living world, everything matters—from safety, health, and comfort to ease of mobility. SafePath Products® makes ramps for senior living that make everyday movement smoother and safer for residents and caregivers alike.
SafePath Products® offers gentle slopes, cushioned surfaces, and anti-slip textures specially designed for wheelchairs and walkers. These wheelchair ramps for seniors are ideal for therapy rooms, dining area entrances, and hallways. Every ramp is ADA compliant, quick and easy to clean, and built to handle continuous use without creating tripping hazards or loud noise. As a trusted provider of accessibility solutions for senior living facilities, SafePath builds every ramp in the USA from 100% recycled materials, backed by a dedicated design team that lays out each project for error-free installation.
By choosing our ADA compliant ramps for senior living facilities, senior care facilities can enhance both the aesthetics of their environments—creating spaces where residents feel secure and independent.
Accessible Main Entrance – A Leading Provider of ADA Compliant ramps for Senior Living to Increase Accessibility for Entrances. The main entrance should allow residents, visitors, and staff to access the building safely and comfortably. Even minor elevation changes at the entrance can pose a barrier for those who use walkers, wheelchairs, or other forms of mobility assistance. SafePath Products® Threshold Ramps provide an easy-to-use solution by providing low-profile slip-resistant transitions that meet ADA Standards, creating a warm and inviting start to a senior living community without need for extensive construction. These assisted living ramps provide long-term performance and blend well with both the lobby floors and the exterior walkways of the community. In addition, they are constructed from durable materials that will allow them to handle the daily wear and tear associated with the combined traffic of seniors entering and leaving the community. The quiet and stable surface of the ramps improves mobility and safety for seniors as they enter and exit a senior living community while also providing overall comfort.
Recommended products: EntryLevel™ Landings, BigHorn™ Ramps.
Individuals with changing amounts of mobility need safe and accessible access to their bedrooms and the bathrooms within those bedrooms, as well as every other area of the facility. Minor changes in flooring height and/or small raised thresholds can result in tripping hazards for individuals as well as challenges in transitioning into or out of their rooms using a wheelchair or walker. SafePath Products® provides a line of low-profile ADA compliant wheelchair ramps for seniors specifically to assist in removing these types of transition obstacles and creating flat slip-resistant connections between all areas of the facility through a gentle ramp incline. Caregivers will be less likely to experience back and/or knee fatigue from moving clients up and down a steep ramp, and clients will also be less likely to fall while using the ramp—a significant risk in many senior care facilities. In addition to being manufactured from durable, quiet and easy-to-clean materials, these ramps provide a high degree of comfort, safety and ease of use during the day-to-day usage of a senior care facility.

Senior communities provide dining halls, recreation rooms, or activity areas where all seniors spend the majority of their days. To maintain a high level of comfort, independence, and safety in those places, easy access must be provided for the residents. Even small changes in the height of a floor, or different levels of doorway thresholds (i.e. thresholds that are level with the floor) can make it difficult for seniors to walk safely if they require a wheelchair, walker, or cane for assistance. Because of this, SafePath Products® durable, low-incline assisted living ramps make it possible for all residents to get from one of these spaces to another easily and without needing help. The surfaces of the ramps are slip-resistant and the design is stable to lower the chance of falling during times when many residents are eating meals or participating in group activities. When SafePath Products® ramps create uninterrupted, ADA compliant pathways between these spaces, seniors are able to feel more confident in participating socially, and there is more consistent movement in and around these high-traffic community areas.
Recommended products: CourtEdge™ Reducer Ramps, EZEdge™ Ramp System.
Seniors face a number of challenges in outdoor spaces such as garden pathways, patios, and trails, including uneven surfaces, small steps, and elevation changes. Therefore, our weather-resistant wheelchair ramps for seniors are built to facilitate more comfortable transitions between these types of outdoor spaces and their surrounding environments. They offer a safer and more inviting outdoor experience for your senior family member, providing smooth and stable transitions between these areas at all times in any weather conditions, including rain, heat, or cold, by providing non-slip surfaces, a range of durable construction materials, and safe access in every season of the year. The ramps will also improve mobility for residents who are utilizing walkers, wheelchairs, or canes, so that they are able to participate in outdoor recreational activities with confidence and independence. Designed to be aesthetically pleasing, they will align nicely with your existing landscaping and architectural design elements, enabling you to create an optimal accessible pathway for your senior family member, while maintaining the current visual appeal of both your outdoor environment and your overall property.
Recommended products: EZCurb™ Wheelchair Ramp, EntryLevel™ Landings.
It is imperative that emergency exits and service accesses enable unobstructed, secure, and quick access, especially when emergencies occur. ADA Compliant Ramps for senior living facilities allow for all levels of mobility to leave the facility in a safe and efficient manner. Built to withstand both ruggedness and heavier weight loads, these assisted living ramps give excellent grip and support on all surfaces and weather conditions. They also provide many efficiencies to daily service by allowing easy movement of carts, equipment, etc., as well as access for staff members and maintenance crews. The addition of a reliable access point through the installation of a quality ramp system can greatly increase the level of safety, preparedness, and overall level of accessibility without compromising the design or flow of the building.

Architects, contractors, and facility managers ask the same core questions before they specify a ramp system. Here is what sets our assisted living ramps apart.
Our ramps use a modular design that install fast, often without cutting into existing concrete or flooring. That means less downtime for your facility and less disruption for residents.
Every ramp is engineered to support the daily traffic of wheelchairs, walkers, medical carts, and service equipment without flexing or shifting underfoot.
Our StoneCap coating gives every walking surface reliable traction in wet, dry, indoor, and outdoor conditions. It holds up to daily foot traffic and repeated cleaning without wearing thin.
We manufacture ramps to fit nonstandard thresholds, curves, and elevation changes, so you are not stuck forcing a stock size into a space it was not built for.
Every product line meets ADA slope, width, and landing requirements, so your facility passes inspection without added engineering work on your end.
Every one of these ramps is made in the USA from 100% recycled materials. It is how we back up ADA compliance with a product you can trust for the life of your building.
If you manage a single community or an entire portfolio of senior living facilities, ordering ramps one project at a time does not scale. SafePath Products® works directly with operators, general contractors, and procurement teams to supply ADA compliant ramps for senior living facilities in bulk, at volume pricing.
Our dedicated design team lays out every project before installation begins. That means your team gets accurate measurements, material counts, and layout drawings up front, so there are no surprises on install day and no wasted materials on site.
If you are planning a new build, a renovation, or a portfolio-wide accessibility upgrade, our team can quote the full project and design the layout before you place an order.
The best ramps for senior living facilities are ADA compliant, slip-resistant, and low profile enough to prevent tripping hazards. Look for ramps with these features.
Yes, every SafePath ramp is fully ADA compliant. Each product is engineered to meet ADA slope, width, and landing requirements, so facilities can pass inspection without additional engineering work.
The size of the wheelchair ramp you need depends on how steep your stairs are. The American Disability Association’s guidelines for ramps require 1 foot of length for every 1 inch of rise. For example, if you have three steps with a total rise of 21 inches, then you would need 21 feet of ramp length.
You’ll also want to make sure your ramp is wide enough to accommodate you or your loved one’s wheelchair. The ADA requires ramps to be, at a minimum, 36 inches wide.
Your ramp will also need to have a level platform at the top and bottom.
SafePath ramps are built to support the combined weight of residents and their mobility equipment, including manual and power wheelchairs, making them suitable for high-traffic areas like dining rooms, main entrances, and emergency exits.
Yes. Senior Living Ramps are available for both indoor and outdoor applications. Indoor ramps help create smooth transitions between rooms, hallways, and common areas, while outdoor ramps provide safe access to entrances, patios, gardens, and walkways. Durable, weather-resistant materials and slip-resistant surfaces help ensure reliable performance in a variety of environments.
Rubber: Excellent for indoor “threshold” ramps because they provide a soft, slip-resistant, and seamless transition over small doorway ledges.
Rubber threshold ramps are durable and provide excellent traction, making them ideal for small height adjustments and indoor use.
