EZEdge™ Transitions have been slightly copied by other ramp companies! These knock-off rubber ramps, however, are inferior in many ways. When selecting a rubber transition ramp be mindful of the durometer (or hardness) of the transition selected, this is often an indicator of the compression and binders used for these products. The softer the ramp or the lower the durometer, the less likely your transition will last for years. The reason is that when recycled rubber products are made softer they are often made with less compression and binders that have measurable voids or air inbetween the particles. Thus, overtime water and contamination can result in the breakdown of these inferior ramps.
EZ Edge™ is the only recycled rubber ramp that has NO LOAD WEIGHT limitations. Be wary of any rubber ramp that has a weight load limitation, this is often a sign of a product that will not last.
