If you’re building is classified as a “public accommodation”, then the American Disabilities Act requires a level landing for your primary access door if the door threshold is a 1/2 inch vertical rise or greater. This landing provides a “maneuverable clearance area” that allows a wheelchair-bound person to access the door hardware without losing position.

SafePath Products’ versatile EntryLevel Landing products are designed for maximum durability and easy installation. Manufactured from 100% recycled rubber and produced entirely in the United States, our disability access products conserve resources, protect the environment, and contribute to a healthy economy.
